The students in my 7th grade World History class are currently studying Ancient Greece, which lends itself to many comparisons of the ancient and modern world.

This choice performance assessment gives students the opportunity to study the Olympics, politics, government, and geography. Our class did not use this particular assessment, as it was suggested to my CT by another teacher, but rather a variation of the "Political Cartoon" choice. Personally, I would have gone with this one.

I love how this particular assessment gives students the opportunity to study something they are interested in and share it with the class. While I do not have access to the particular rubric used for this assessment, I think it would definitely be crucial to students ability to be successful with this project. I would give a checklist rubric if I gave this assessment to my class.
